CORPORATE HEALTH POLICY
INTRODUCTION

Good health is the most important priority in the company's organizational activities
OBJECTIVES
The company believes that the good health of every employee comes before the organization's activities. Therefore, in setting up this health policy, we have laid down guidelines that will direct and control the company’s efforts toward achieving good health for its labor force. These are illustrated in the company's clearly defined statement in the Managing Director’s statement on health.
MANAGEMENT DIRECTORS’S HEALTH STATEMENT
It is the uttermost aim of this company to ensure the good health of its labor force and to provide a healthy working environment.
In this regard, C-DEC Nig. Ltd. ensures that all operations associated with various projects undertaken are executed in such a way that the health of the employees is safeguarded and will comply with all necessary health and sanitary laws in existence.
HEALTH PROGRAMME
We provide first-aid facilities, including equipment, on every site of our projects in different locations. We also fumigate our various sites and carry out daily cleaning, thereby ensuring a high level of hygiene on various sites.
POLICY GUIDELINES
C-DEC Nig. Ltd Health policy guidelines are as follows:
1. Only medically fit workers shall be engaged in the company’s operations
2. A medical test is compulsory for any senior staff member before being fully employed by the company
3. Encouragement of workers to report any illness.
4. All cases of accident or illness on sites should be given urgent attention
5. All workers shall be educated on the hygiene and sanitary rules of our various clients.
COMPANY’S HEALTH REGULATIONS
C-DEC Nig. Ltd. shall enforce all health and sanitary laws in existence and, in addition, carry out the following:
1. A male senior staff member will be treated of himself, his wife, and four registered children, provided another company does not employ the wife.
2. In the case of a senior female employee, she is entitled to treatment of herself and four children only.
1. Every junior staff member is entitled to treatment of himself only
2. Every junior staff member is entitled to use the hospital/clinic and should collect an introductory letter from our administration department on the first visit.
3. If any member of staff has a reason for not using the appointed hospital or clinic, he/she should notify the admin Manager within 24 hours.
4. The admin Department should be notified of the admission of any staff or his dependents within 24 hours of admission
3. The staff placed on sick leave should obtain a sick report from the appointed hospital or clinic.
4. For junior staff, the company does not cater to the following:
Either Antenatal or natal care
Dental care, ear, Nose, and throat care
Ophthalmology care (eyes, including lenses and S.T.D)
